At McDonald's, we take great care to serve quality, great-tasting menu items to our customers each and every time they visit our restaurants. We understand that each of our customers has individual needs and considerations when choosing a place to eat or drink outside. A quick trolling session was our last shot (unsuccessful) before we again gunned the Mac 4.2 onto the plane and headed for the ramp. The lake was flat enough to throw the boat into some sharp turns and generally ‘hoon about’ on the way back. In the turns, the Mac tends to slide, rather than biting in hard. Big Mac DEagle -For the con, I don't know if it's something that can be changed in the actual skin, or if it's just the way the deagle is, but it's too shiny and that washes out most of the color.

McDonald's is answering all your fast food cravings this new year with the return of a fan-favorite deal. McDonald's 2 for $5 Mix & Match Deal is back, which means you can indulge in all your fave menu items for a bargain price. Get ready to chow down on some seriously affordable bites in 2020.

As of Monday, Dec. 30, popular menu items like the Big Mac, the Filet-O-Fish, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, and the Quarter Pounder with Cheese will be back with the chain's 2 for $5 Mix & Match Deal. You can snag the offer for a limited time at participating McDonald's locations nationwide, so make sure to grab your pals ASAP to kick off the new decade at a restaurant near you, which you can find using the restaurant finder. To find even more steals this season, make sure to get the McDonald's app, which you can download on both iOS and Android.

While you're swinging by the Golden Arches this winter, make sure to try out the new crispy chicken sandwich. McDonald's began testing the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the Deluxe Crispy Sandwich on Dec. 2, 2019 and the menu items will be available through Jan. 26, 2020 at participating restaurants in Houston, Texas, and Knoxville, Tennessee.

Selling for a suggested price of $3.49 for the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and $4.09 for the Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich, the delicious bites might just rival fan-favorite menu items at Popeyes and Chick-fil-A. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich features a fried chicken filet served on a sweet, buttery potato roll, topped with butter and crinkle cut pickles. The deluxe version includes a fried chicken filet served on a sweet, buttery potato roll as well, but it's topped with a bed of tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo.

These temporary chicken offerings aren't in the 2 for $5 Mix & Match Deal, but plenty of classic McDonald's items like McNuggets are included. You can also score discounted sips like $1 any-size soft drinks and more on the chain's $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu, so you can get a full meal — drink and all — for just $6. Looks like 2020 is about to be one tasty year.

The Big Mac has always been my favorite sandwich at McDonald’s. At 590 calories and 29 grams of fat, I rarely get it anymore. Back in March, we posted that the Big Mac Snack Wrap was making it’s debut in Cananda. It has finally made its way to my local McDonald’s (and apparently Nationwide), so I decided to give it a try.

I have to say that I was apprehensive about the Big Mac being served as a snack wrap. After all, the Big Mac jingle is:

Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.

And its actually a triple-dose of bun. But this review is about the snack wrap version, not the original. This item is so new that it isn’t even on the McDonald’s website, so here is how the Big Mac Snack Wrap was described in our recent post:

Delicious 100 percent pure beef, Big Mac special sauce, lettuce, Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, pickles, and onions on a warm flour tortilla

The ingredients are accurate of the original Big Mac (of course substituting the bun with the tortilla) but in much smaller portions. You get two sad slivers of beef patty in the Big Mac Snack Wrap. There is a little slice of what appeared to be American cheese (no Monterey Jack or Cheddar to be found), a few pieces of shredded lettuce and of course, the Big Mac “special sauce”. The “special sauce” was a little off. It didn’t seem to have the same tangy flavor of what I’m familar with on the original Big Mac. Honestly, it’s probably the same sauce but it came across a little funny with the wrap. Of course the standard sour McD’s pickles are also present. The flour tortilla is pretty average and thankfully didn’t fall apart on me…but there really wasn’t enough in it to be an issue. The Big Mac Snack Wrap is the same size as the chicken snack wraps McDonald’s carries but on the inside, I felt that it just wasn’t stuffed enough. I guess it’s hard to complain about a “snack” as they’re only $1.59 each. But as you can see from the pictures…it’s pretty sad and small.

Big

With a snack wrap taking the Big Mac name, I was at least hoping for the same flavor and satisfaction. This attempt fell short of average and dipped into the realm of mediocrity. I would rather pay a little extra and get the classic Big Mac (which is currently at a special rate of 2 for $4.00). I’ll stick to grilled chicken versions of the snack wrap and when in the mood, I’ll splurge on the Big Mac.

Pros: Only $1.59. Might satisfy a Big Mac Attack without all the calories and fat.

Mac

Cons: Not enough meat. Special sauce was a little off. Made me want a Big Mac instead.
