The default option, noted as 'Default' in the tabs at the top, will show you the printers that your Mac can find on the network. To add a printer that is available on your network, simply click on. Start the System Preferences app by clicking its icon in the Dock. Click the Printers & Scanners icon.

• Add a Wi-Fi or network printer If your Mac and printer are already connected to the same Wi-Fi network, the printer might be available to you without any setup. To check, choose File Print, click the Printer pop-up menu, choose Nearby Printers or Printers & Scanners preferences, then choose your printer.
• On your Mac, if the printer is on the network, choose Apple menu System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners. Add the printer again to create a new printer queue. If you can print to the newly added printer queue, delete the old printer queue.
