Explore and survive in infinitely-generated worlds of wide open terrain, with a range of different biomes, enemies, dungeons, and endless possibilities. You can explore without being told where to go, build epic dirt mansions or dig a hole to hide from the mobs in. Everything that happens is down to the player.
There are two main game modes: Survival, where you must explore the world, fight enemies, find food, build a house; and Creative, where you have unlimited resources and get to build anything your mind can imagine.
Almost every single block in the world can be destroyed by mining, collected and combined in a crafting table to create new blocks, amour, tools and even machines.
On the Java Edition of Minecraft there is a large modding community for Minecraft, with vast amounts of additional content you can install on your server. We currently have over 300 one-click installable modpacks on our control panel, and you can change anytime. If one you want to play is not listed, tell us! We’ll install it.

I am currently running Logic Pro 8 on a Mac Pro 'Eight Core' 2.8 (Early 2008) powered by two 2.8 GHz Quad Core 45-nm Intel Xeon E5462 (Harpertown/Penryn) processors and was looking to upgrade to Logic X with an Apogee Quartet interface. I have never had any performance issues with my Mac, but I know that Logic X requires an update to OS X Mountain Lion which I worry will slow the performance of my machine. Is it possible to upgrade my OS and Logic for this machine without slowing it down considerably? If so what steps should I take to get the most out of my Mac Pro for this configuration? Or should I just save up for a new Mac Pro or beefed up iMac?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
